The RHi Story
Our Founder, Rick Hubbard, started working on locks and security systems in his father’s security business at a young age. He continued with his father’s company making it one of Tampa Bay’s largest full service security companies. Rick moved on to work for a national distribution company, then as a representative for one of the country’s largest high security brands before he decided to start RHi in 1999. Since then RHi has grown into one of Florida’s largest agencies of its kind.
Founded in 1999, RHi is an Independent Representative Agency providing architectural specification consulting, sales, and support for Independent Manufacturers in the Southeastern United States. Headquartered in Orlando with several satellite offices, our firm provides services across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

Rick Hubbard
Principle
Rick has spent the majority of his career in some kind of sales role. He has worked in every level of distribution in his career: dealer, wholesale distribution, manufacturing and since 2000, as Independent Representative. “I love going out, meeting people and helping them find quality products from the finest Manufacturer’s in the business.”
When he is not out traveling and visiting potential clients, Rick enjoys spending time with his family, sailing, on the water in some way and attending Florida State Football games.

Kaitlyn Summerfield
Lead Specifier
Kaitlyn grew up reading blueprints and helping her dad on jobsites. Since joining the team in 2018, she has enjoyed helping customers with projects, and getting independent manufacturers into architectural specifications. “It’s been fun seeing just how many hardware options there are available from different companies! Everywhere I go now, I’m always looking to see if a new lever style is on a door or thinking how an opening’s aesthetics could be improved.”
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and hiking with her dog.

Michael Hubbard
Michael joined the team in 2020 and has helped the company grow tremendously. He enjoys meeting with clients and providing solutions to problems.
When he is not working, Michael enjoys watching his favorite sports teams on the weekends, spending time on the water, and sharing good laughs with his family and friends.

Mitch Gordon
Mitch joined the team in 2022, and with over 30 years experience in access control and low voltage as an integrator as well as a manufacturers representative. Mitch has been able to jump into the team as a valuable asset already.
In Mitch’s spare time, he enjoys boating, hiking, reading, and traveling.

Rob Curry
Rob started his career over 30 years ago as a locksmith, installing commercial doors, hardware, and access control, and was a safe technician. In 2007 he became a hardware consultant and representative. “Now I have the pleasure of working with everyone from the dealers to the general contractors, architects and manufacturers.”
When Rob is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, cruising and martial arts.
